Your role at Clorox:
This Leader is responsible for safe execution of all maintenance activities at the plant. These activities include supervision of maintenance employees, repair and maintenance of all plant equipment, management of maintenance cost, management of spare parts, development and implementation of preventative and predictive maintenance, and development and verification of maintenance procedures. This role will also include input to projects, development of maintenance staff, input to site master planning activities, and influence of site direction and culture.
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate maintenance activities, both preventive and reactive.
- Manage external resources needed for any maintenance project or activities.
- Collaborate with operations leadership on equipment priorities and flow of resources to the highest priority work.
- Develop maintenance staff and ensure that maintenance staffing has the appropriate and required skills to maintain and improve plant Equipment.
- Manage maintenance skill matrices, coach maintenance staff, and evaluate maintenance staff skills.
- Develop, execute, and improve maintenance systems to improve overall equipment effectiveness throughout the plant including updating, developing, and improving maintenance procedures and predictive maintenance systems, and maintenance cost systems.
- Implement workplace safety policies and standards and monitor maintenance staff to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.
- Manage the purchase of spare parts for all plant equipment, maintenance tools, and supplies.
- Effectively plan and manage shutdown maintenance for the plant.
- Position is a direct manager to the Plant Maintenance team, which can include but limited to Mechanical & Electrical Team Leads / Maintenance Techs, EIC Techs, Maintenance Planner, & Inventory Specialist
What we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Skilled in root cause analysis, issue resolution, and team development across all levels.
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing, with extensive shop floor operations beyond assembly.
- Proven ability to optimize processes for improved efficiency and productivity across multiple areas.
- Strong commitment to delivering accurate, complete, and timely products and services.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, able to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in documentation, report generation, database management, and resource tracking; familiar with CMMS, preferably SAP PM.
- Demonstrated success in leading teams through change.
- Highly organized with strong project management capabilities.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%, work at heights, and adapt to shifting demands.
- Skilled in delivering effective presentations

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $86,600 - $161,900
–Zone B: $79,400 - $148,400
–Zone C: $72,100 - $134,900
